MY PROFESSIONAL IDENTITY
How I Show Up.
I take pride in being someone others can count on, whether that means stepping up to lead, contributing to a team, or making sure the details are right. Comparing how I see myself with feedback from people I've worked with has helped me recognize my strengths and where I still have room to grow.

Communication Style
I'm usually the person who comes to meetings prepared and has already double-checked the details. I like to listen, ask questions, and understand different perspectives before sharing my own. One thing I'm still working on is speaking up sooner, rather than waiting until I'm completely confident in an idea.

Professional Evolution
From team projects in BCOM 314 to my internship in Seoul, I've learned that being dependable earns trust, but sharing my ideas out loud is what makes them count. That's the habit I'm building as I head toward law school.

My Core Values
01
Accountability
If I say I'll do something, I follow through. I care about the details and want people to know they can rely on me.
02
Curiosity
I'm naturally curious about unfamiliar places, different perspectives, and how things work. It's what pushes me to keep exploring and learning.
03
Collaboration
I value being both a leader and a team player. I believe the best results come from listening to others, sharing responsibility, and working toward a common goal.
04
Ambition
I'm working toward law school, and I want to get there by growing a little braver and more confident every semester.

Where I'm Growing
One of the biggest takeaways from my Professional Reputation Survey was realizing that others sometimes recognize strengths in me that I struggle to see in myself. While my feedback reinforced my work ethic, dependability, and leadership abilities, it also reminded me that I need to trust my own ideas and the preparation behind them.
Sharing my ideas earlier instead of waiting until they feel perfect.
Building confidence in public speaking. Seeking more opportunities to present, lead discussions, and become comfortable speaking under pressure.
Trusting my preparation. Reminding myself that I've put in the work and my voice deserves to be heard.
My Takeaway
I found it interesting that I identified with a Driver style, while others described my behavior as more Expressive. This made me think about the difference between how I approach a task internally and how I come across to the people working with me.
